Who am I?
Before you invest in even giving me your contact details it’s probably a good idea to know who the person you’re entrusting is? Otherwise it’s just an awkward blind date that could go either way!
IN FITNESS:
DEGREE EDUCATED
With a BSc Hons Degree in Sports & Exercise Science and CYQ qualified I’ve attended more CPD than I care to list over a 10 year coaching career. My coaching is founded on science and developed with experience.
EXPERIENCED
With years in the trenches, working alongside some incredible coaches, athletes and people I look up to in 2015 I opened my first gym and run a successful in person and online coaching business.
A MENTOR
With the success of my gyms I support and help other coaches and gym owners build coaching businesses that reflect their own personalities, goals and the lifestyle they want to live.
IN COMPETITION AND LIFE:
2x Britain’s Natural Strongest Man
2 x Britain’s Natural Strongest Man, 2 x Midlands Strongest Man, multiple appearances at Englands and professional level shows. From deadlifting 400kgs to pressing a 182kg axle over my head if you want to get strong - I’ve been, seen and done it.
2x Midlands Strongest Man
From Premier University Rugby with University of Worcester to National League Rugby with Malvern RFC I’ve played at various levels and also support MRFC with their strength and conditioning.
WR Endurance Records
24 hours on a ski-erg, 100,000m on a ski-erg, 125,000m on a rower? Give me a charitable cause and a test of my fitness and I’m all over it. Although never again will I go near a ski-erg.
IN COMPETITION AND LIFE:
48 Marathons/48 Days/48 Counties
In 2021 I completed a world first 48 consecutive days of marathons in each of England’s 48 counties raising £48,000 for food banks and children living in food poverty.
Marathon des Sables
In 2022 I completed the “worlds toughest foot race”, finishing 150 miles across the Sahara Desert earning myself a coveted finishers medal.
Ironman70.3
Completing my jaunt into ultra endurance I rounded off the year with completion of Weymouth 70.3 only a few weeks after the 48.
NFG
Challenging myself in a completely different event I competed in the “fours” category in 2019 winning the BodyPower IFBA event and the top 10 at the Lboro finals. Taking yourself to your fitness limits creates a special awareness of your mental fortitude.
BEING A PARENT
Nothing else compares to that feeling of being a positive role model to my little human but I understand the challenges it creates in fitting in your athletic endeavours around work, parenting, business and life. I get it, it isn’t easy.
ENJOYING THE JOURNEY
As a fulltime social athlete, I enjoy socialising, eating good food and enjoying the journey. For me, you rarely remember the podium but you remember the road that took you there. This whole programme - it’s about balance and enjoying the process.
So that’s the equivalent of my Coaching Tinder bio…. there’s a lot more to it and a lot more experience I can bring to your own journey but if you like the look of the experience, the fact I walk the walk as well as talking the talk then drop me your details in the contact form and let’s have a chat.
Get in contact and let’s take the first steps…
All coaching relationships start with a call and a coffee (or tea if that’s your preference)
Send me some details of what your goals are, what you want to achieve and any timeframes and let’s arrange a time to chat/facetime/meet and see what roadmap you’ll need to reach your goals.
